    The Montane Prism Jacket is an extremely versatile, very comfortable item of insulation. We like it because not only is it more cost effective than a lot of insulation pieces, but it performs very well in all sorts of situations. Using 40g Primaloft Eco Insulation, which is warm, lightweight, and from a minimum of 50% recycled material. This Primaloft fill is key to keeping you warm even when wet, and remains very quick drying. As well as this it packs away tightly just as down would. The outer face of the jacket is Pertex Microlight Rip-stop, This is what keeps all the wind out, a degree of water off, and is extremely quick drying.

    The Rab Ascent Jacket is a down filled jacket with on outer fabric face of Pertex® Endurance 50D, which makes it very durable and highly water resistant. Whilst at the same time being a highly thermally efficient piece of kit.
    The intended purpose of this jacket ranges from full mountain walking in the depths of British winter to keeping you toasty on the daily commute. With that in mind Rab have taken it to the extent of having a detachable hood and longer body. They've filled it with some extremely efficient duck down(330g/12oz US650) with a warmth-weight ratio that is excellent. As well as this the jacket features fleece lined neck baffles and hand warmer pockets, for that extra 'ahhhhh' feeling.
